How much it all costs to work with Home.
WHAT FUNDING DO WE accept?
Home accepts the following funding types:
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants who are either Plan Managed or Self Managed
*Private Health (if you have OT as a part of your cover)
*Medicare
*General Practitioner Management Plan (GPMP) or Team Care Arrangements (TCA’s)
Private paying
*Depending on your level of Private Health cover, your Private Health may cover the entire session cost, or it may cover a portion of the cost. Similarly, with Medicare and a GPMP or TCA, there may be a ‘gap’ between the amount of the session cost Medicare/the GPMP or TCA covers and the total session cost. This ‘gap’ is the part you pay for out of your own pocket.
Hourly rate
RATE
We charge a fixed hourly rate of $193.99. We reserve the right to change this at any time.
SESSION LENGTH
Sessions are 1 hour long: 50 minutes of direct client contact, and 10 minutes of note taking and planning for our next epic session!
Travel
If sessions are not based in our clinic, travel costs, and costs associated with providing services such as tolls, parking fees, etc. will be quoted and charged accordingly.

5 to 10+ Hours depending upon the complexity.
*If 10+ hours are required, a quote will be provided prior to commencement of the FCA.

3 Hours
All other administrative tasks
We want the people we support to get the most from their available funding as well as maximal bang for buck. However, our time is precious as is yours, and all administrative tasks outside of session time will be billed. So please think twice about ‘a quick call’ or ‘a quick email’. Is it absolutely crucial? Can you solve it yourself? If it can wait until your session time, please leave it until then. If in session time it is taking longer than the allocated session, it will be discussed as to when it can be addressed and billed in accord with the below.
Billable administrative tasks include, but are not limited to:
email communication and phone calls to the person being supported, their family, support networks, other (medical) professionals involved in their care, etc.
$19.40 per 6 minute block
completing letters of support, forms, etc.
$97.00, then $19.40 per 6 minute block it takes to complete past 30 minutes
For example, if a phone call took 15 minutes, it would be charged at 3 x 6 minute blocks, so $58.20 as it is past the 2 x 6 minute blocks and into the 3rd 6 minute block.
For our NDIS Participants we support, funding allocations will be made in your Service Agreement to account for these and an accurate record of how much has been used / is remaining against your Service Agreement will be kept.
Cancellations
If a cancellation is made within the 48 hour window prior to the start your scheduled session the full session fee will be charged.
All cancellations are to be sent by email to hello@thegoodtimes.au (just click on the email address highlighted and it will open an email to us in your email app that you can complete and send us! How easy is that?!)
**The only exception to this is a brand new client’s very first session.
Remember, if you are sick or stuck in traffic, etc., and it is a last minute cancellation and you can’t make it in, no stress! We can always do a Telehealth sesh.
No shows will be charged the full session fee.
If for whatever reason, we need to cancel a sesh, you wont be charged.
